Welcome to Resin by Sandra

Hi, I’m Sandra — the artist (and ocean-obsessed creator) behind Resin by Sandra.

Originally from Germany, I’ve proudly called Australia home for nearly 20 years. My pieces are inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Western Australia — from the swirling blues of the coastline to the rich red dirt of the outback. Whether I’m diving beneath the waves or working in remote mining locations, I find endless inspiration in nature’s textures, colours, and rhythms.

What began as a creative outlet has grown into a full-blown passion for handcrafted resin art. As a diver, I’m captivated by the movement and mood of the sea — and as someone who works in rugged landscapes, I’m equally inspired by the raw, earthy tones of the land. I pour all of that into each piece I create.

Resin has a life of its own, and that’s the magic of it. No two creations are ever the same — temperature, humidity, and surface textures all play their part, making every piece a true original.

Here, you’ll find a lovingly curated collection of handmade resin art — from cutting boards and serving trays to wine glasses and limited-edition home decor. Looking for a one-of-a-kind gift? A custom wedding piece? Or just something that speaks to your love of the ocean (or the desert)? I’d be honoured to create something just for you.

With love,
Sandra 💙

Memories in the mines...

Beyond my passion for resin art, I work full-time in the mining industry. Following a recent major company transition, I wanted to create something that captured not just the physical site, but the memories, moments, and people who’ve meant a lot to me along the way.

The result is a one-of-a-kind resin artwork inspired by an open pit mine at sunset. I used real red dirt collected from the site itself, blending it with hand-poured resin to reflect the rich tones of the outback and the rugged beauty of the terrain. It’s a tribute to the raw, untamed landscape we work in—and the stories it holds.
